ShoppingNeasden is surrounded by many large retail areas and units, Staples Corner, Brent Cross, Ikea, Asda to name just a few. You can probably buy just about anything in Neasden within 2 miles radius. Unlike Kilburn and Willesden, Neasden doesn't have a long High St where the main shops and facilities attract a great number of people.
Gladstone ParkIs close to Neasden Station the park holds regular events, circuses and fairgrounds. The annual festival on the park features music and community events. There is a bunker beneath Gladstone Park that was to be used by the War Cabinet during WW2. To date the bunker is yet to be opened to the public.
Neasden & Willesden Neasden is edged onto the North Circular with an abundance of retail centres within it's boundaries. The main centre of Neasden is hardly inspiring but a short distance away is the magnificent Neasden Temple. Also in the area is St Marys Church a sixteenth century church on the border of Willesden and Neasden.
Eating and DrinkingIn Neaden Centre there are a number of places to eat, Indian and Chinese restaurants. The pubs around the area generally serve a good pint of Guiness resulting from the Irish influence in NW london. Overall Neasden is a residencial area and to eat out or socialise you need to travel, there is a cinema close by at the Staples Retail Park, where you can catch the latest movies at Cineworld.
